    There Will Be Blood

Good stuff. Really enjoyed this one. Paul Dano kinda stole the show to be honest as this egomaniac masquerading as a prophet of the Lord. Lots of symbolism and metaphors I’m sure, drawing relationships between the oil and the films title, There Will Be Blood. I got lots of 2001: A Space Odyssey vibes as well with the ominous score and the long, drawn out scenes with little to no dialogue. I’m glad I finally got around to watching this movie, it was fantastic to say the least. Time for a milkshake.

  • Run

Straight up disturbing and unsettling. Run most certainly caught me by surprise, and it shows that Aneesh Chaganty definitely knows what he’s doing. It was intense the entire time and it had an amazing protagonist in my opinion, someone I really cared for throughout the entire movie. I’m very much looking forward to seeing what Chaganty does next now that he has Searching and Run under his belt. P.S. don’t read the synopsis for this movie, I think it’s best to go in knowing absolutely nothing ;)

    Willy's Wonderland

I can’t believe a movie like this actually exists. It’s so stupid, so insane, but insanely enjoyable. Nicolas Cage not saying a single word in this movie was one of the weirdest, yet most clever decisions the filmmakers could have made. If they tried to make this a more serious flick, it most certainly would not have been as entertaining as it was.

    Die Another Day

I’ve seen every James Bond movie now! I’ll be rewatching the Daniel Craig Bond films, the best Bond films, in the coming month. I will forever be upset that we’ve had to wait this long for No Time To Die.
