Licorice Pizza is, to put it simply, an instant classic. Paul Thomas Anderson’s spectacular return to the San Fernando Valley is a joyous, hilarious, impeccably directed masterpiece with two remarkable debut performances from Cooper Hoffman and Alana Haim as well as the best screenplay of the year. A sensational slice of cinema I’ll be enjoying for years to come.
