tick, tick...BOOM! β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…

I had a bit of an idea what this was about going.
Wasn't too familiar with Jonathan Larson. I'm just not familiar with Broadway in general.
I was very excited to see Andrew Garfield though and he did not disappoint!
Loved him so much here. He truly is amazing. I'm so happy to see all the love he has been getting lately, he totally deserves it and yeah I'm so back to being head over heels for him. πŸ˜‚ I enjoyed all the cast. I thought everyone was fitting and very lovely. I also really enjoyed Robin de Jesus. But yeah a great, stand out cast.
I thought this looked nice. Really great sets and locations. I wouldn't say there were any very impressive shots that will stay with me or anything but it still looked nice. The diner scene stands out.
The music was great. I found myself really enjoying the songs. Quite a few really pulled at the heartstrings. I wouldn't say all the songs really worked for me but the songs just had a really great flow to them and came at the right moments.
I really enjoyed the way the story was told. Thought it was the perfect way to tell this story. At first I wasn't really feeling the story, guess I needed to let this settle with me but damn it was so easy to connect with this. I cried a lot. I was touched by this. A very emotional experience for me. Made me think about my own life and what I have done with it so far, yup I'm already past 30 😬 so really can't help but take a look at your life! 😝
Not a must own but if it does become available to purchase I wouldn't be surprised to own at some point. Not a movie that I see myself getting in the mood to rewatch a lot but I wouldn't be surprised to revisit this a handful more times, especially when I get in the mood to watch Andrew Garfield.
Moment that gave me the chills πŸ₯Ά, I'll just say the diner scene. I know I said I'm not a Broadway fan but even I thought that was amazing!!!!
P.S. I really wish I had rewatched Rent before watching this.
