Loved the way the mystery was woven and unravelled, the dream sequences were stunning, the faceless spectres were extremely unnerving, albeit used a bit too much at the end. Was worried it was just gonna turn into a ‘actually the revenge seeking woman is bad’ but tbf it didn’t fully take that route which was nice?

While stylistically nice, it didn’t feel like an Edgar wright film, though tbf I attribute his style to the way he does comedy which is hard to really translate into a serious horror film

Can’t believe how young fresher uni students look to me now I don’t like it

The start of the film felt strange and had a specific tone and style that felt like the film was setting up for some great pay off but then it just,,, didn’t. It just felt like a flat line the rest of the way. If it weren’t for the amazing cast i feel like it wouldn’t have worked nearly as well

There were character arcs/plots that didn’t resolve or go anywhere and could’ve been completely cut (like the juvie kids.…

In the three ‘genre’ tags Netflix shows in the tv slideshow preview, the first tag said ‘relaxing’. It was quite possibly the least relaxing documentary I have ever watched that I can remember.

There was some really good insight into what actually goes on behind the Everest climbing industry, with good emphasis on how much work the Sherpas put into ensuring the tourists or clients have the best and safest possible route up the mountain that barely ever gets the…

Nice, good film with really good character studies. Chas’ relationship w his dad and the development of that hit the hardest at the end. I was just a bit hung up on the whole Ritchie/Margo thing I was uncomfortable lmao.

In light of the whole GME stuff happening right now, we decided to watch this. How very depressing.

It was pretty well told, some of the concepts and terms are very confusing (intentionally so), and i thought it was a good choice to have them stop, break the fourth wall, and actually explain these terms and how they worked.
That said, some of it went by so quick it was hard to keep up from the perspective of someone who…
