Chinese Coffee 2000
A good rainy day film driven by the Pacino-Orbach chemistry in this adaptation of a play. Philosophical ruminations on life, art, relationships and the meaning of it all with good dialogue and outstanding performances by the 2 protagonists.
Not for everyone but if you like Jarmusch or Mamet, you'll like this.

Detroit 2017
I just feel like I got shot in the face! Where Fruitvale Station kills you softly, this is a sledgehammer to the groin.
Hard to talk about the fantastic cinematography (hand-held shots not unlike a Facebook Live film in parts) and the great acting when you feel so much anger at the injustice.
I want to hear MLK, but all I can hear is "Fuck the Police."
