    Very rare that you come across a movie as tender as this one. Every aspect of this movie was thought-provoking, sincere, and grounded.

    It is projects like these that maintain my trust in Joaquin Phoenix the same way I would trust a favorite director. He puts a lot of careful thought and consideration to the vast majority of his roles and I love him for it.

    The Killing of a Sacred Deer was the 3rd movie I have seen by Yorgos Lanthimos, and although it is my least favorite, it is still a great watch in general. It is hard to give a synopsis on the film without spoiling it, and I went into the film completely blind and I'm glad I did.
