Burning is an incredibly slow-burning (pun intended) film, a movie that takes its time to set up the characters it is examining before putting them to the fire (again, pun intended). I think one of this film's greatest strengths is its ambiguity; its meaning can be taken in so many different legitimate directions. Truly wonderful.
