Noah Kern’s review published on Letterboxd:
I was pretty floored by this whole movie. Carey Mulligan is honestly one of the best actresses we got; everything she does is great. Bo Burnham is also fantastic and it was a joy to see him in one of the leading roles in a feature film. He’s one of my favorite comedians for sure. On top of the performances, it’s just a really well written movie and this is a great debut for Fennell. She really knows what she is doing and I can’t wait to see what she does next. It’s really nice watching a movie that touches on these subjects because they are barely spoken about in other films. Even though I think there are a few obvious flaws, this is easily one of the best films of last year.
