The Double Life of Véronique is an enigma. While not everything may make sense, it’s a beautiful story. Though I didn’t think the second act was all that interesting, the first and third act were amazing. Just the first thirty minutes deserves five stars, but I never really thought the film topped the first thirty minutes.
