Tamara’s review published on Letterboxd:
I originally watched the first few Monogatari releases in high school and 7 years (?) later I've decided to check it out again.
Stylistically, it's just as beautiful as I remember. And the music? 10/10.
But as an arc, that was quite underwhelming. Nekomonogatari told us a lot about Hanekawa but almost never showed us anything. The affection Araragi supposedly feels towards her, her apparent righteousness, etc. It's all discussed between Oshino and Araragi but never shown. It's still reasonably enjoyable, but feels rushed and not as satisfying as my other experiences watching the Monogatari series.
(Also, as an adult the fanservice becomes even more cringeworthy.)
