  kicks ass. i love that there are multiple songs with lyrics like “this is a crucial turning point in the story. it remains to be seen whether this will end in bloodshed.” really sets the tone. no movie has ever made me want suspenders this badly.

  a 2+ hour super bowl commercial stuffed with maximalist reddit bullshit. i was about to write “this is what you’d get by letting the russo brothers say fuck,” and then the credits rolled and they were producers on the movie. not without its charms, but the universal onslaught of acclaim is baffling. history will vindicate me here.
