  Some interesting ideas and imagery here, but thematically and plot wise is just a total mess. Whatever this film has to say about punk, fascism, sex, and violence is just lost, incoherent, and often contradictory.

  The first lines of spoken dialogue in this film are “Yeah, let’s go! I love it!” which coincidentally are the same words I shout aloud to myself when I start the movie.

  This 2K transfer is gorgeous. The Boz has never looked this good. God bless those beautiful bastards at Kino Lorber for putting this on blu ray with new interviews from the cast and a new commentary track. I’m looking forward to diving into those soon.

  This is my last tango with Stone Cold for a while. Five watches in five months is probably overkill.
