  Sweet Smell of Success 1957

  Takes place in an alternate universe where people read newspapers and they affect local politics. Pretty dated, but the dialogue is fun in a "no one would actually talk like this but it's pleasurable to listen to" kind of way, and the two lead men turn in entertaining and watchable performances.
