Heading into my first viewing of this film, I expected to see some terrific musical numbers, charming and energetic performances from Kelly & O'Connor, and a then nineteen year old Debbie Reynolds just being absolutely adorable. And I got them all! What I did not expect was just how funny this movie would be. Over sixty years later, and a lot of the comedy still holds up.
