    The debut film from writer/director Andy Muschietti, based off his short Argentinian film of the same name.     I'm going to say that for any Horror fans born between roughly 1964 and 1987, it's pretty much impossible to be objective about this movie. It was so influential, and came at such an influential time for Horror films in general, that the nostalgia and fondness threatens to completely overwhelm any judgements about how well it works on either the Horror or Comedy fronts.
