• Assassination Nation

    Assassination Nation

    the girlboss gospel right here

sam levinson peaked with this I fear

  • Firestarter

    John Carpenter's score carried this

This felt like they didn't have even half of the budget they needed to adapt this story

While I enjoyed that it has more of a horror flair than the source material, it's too bad that almost everytime someone was set on fire it was unintentional comedy

Final sequence kind of kicks ass just a bit

  • I Know Who Killed Me

    I Know Who Killed Me

It's simultaneously incredibly derivative but also VERY unique.

Shockingly effective gore and horror elements, a plot that had me going ??? the whole time, and a killer performance by Lindsay Lohan make this a surefire instant classic in my book.

  • Scream 3

    Scream 3

the lack of gore hinders it a little bit but it's kind of easily the most fun and rewatchable one for me?? the runtime flies by so quickly

    real fawking music.

  • The World of Kanako

    The World of Kanako

please refer to my I Saw The Devil review for more details.

the film has its energy and attempts to be shocking turned up to 11 for almost 2 whole hours, which in turn made me feel like I was becoming desensitized to the brutality and it just became repetitive seeing people get beat to death every 5 minutes

I hope to make a low budget masterpiece like this someday myself

so atmospheric and makes me feel so gross, I felt like I was breathing in the air of the location

  • We're All Going to the World's Fair

We're All Going to the World's Fair

Really intriguing and unsettling, slow drama about identity vs online identity and adolescent self-discovery in the internet age.

However I do feel like its marketing as a horror film will leave many horror fans disappointed or expecting something different.

Anna Cobb's performance is absolutely excellent and I'm very curious to see her next projects.

I can pretty confidently say it has its own unique feel

  • UMMA

Missed potential. The performances are great but it's far too weak and light on its horror elements to leave any lasting impact.

However, this could be a good starter horror film for someone that isn't as familiar with the genre.

heidi zozak being like the best actress of all time and only being in like 3 movies is my 9/11
