Sometimes just thinking about a movie leads to reappraisal, And I certainly misjudged it when I first saw it. What can I say? The movie makes pacifism look badass. It also has the guts and skill to be a SERIOUS animated movie about peace and love. You shouldn't have to resort to unicorns and fluffy rainbows singing songs to say a message like that. The necessity of peace and love, and the dangerous fallout of war and hate, isn't a fantasy.
