If Faces of Death counts as a documentary so does this.
Whenever a movie like this comes along, people always tend to criticize the lack of a traditional plot and the “vignette-y” nature. Honestly though, when done well (and I think it’s done very well here) that might be my favorite kind of structure for a film. Life doesn’t have a cookie cutter plot, and it’s fun to dip in and out of different scenes.
Also, this is still easily within my top 3 High School movies. Endlessly rewatchable (god only knows how many times i’ve seen this) and extremely entertaining.
