Letterboxd — Your life in film

Doing a rewatch of the franchise with my niece. I haven't watched this film in a while. It's still good. I can't believe it's 23 years old

I took my niece to see it in the cinema. It was my first time seeing it on the big screen. I loved it 32 years ago and I still love it now. It's my favourite animated film

A weird little sci-fi horror film. A couple of things didn't work for me but overall it was engaging and intriguing with a couple of funny moments sprinkled in. Kaitlyn Dever gives a good performance. Her star is continuing to rise

I haven't seen this film in years. It may not be as good as I remember it but it's still a fun horror comedy

I went to the 30th anniversary screening. Hands down the best dinosaur film ever made. It's one of those films that's better to watch on the big screen. So much better than the book

I thought it was a decent documentary.

A really good whodunit with a splash of horror. It's a very loose adaptation of Agatha Christie's story Halloween Party. This might be my favourite of the 3 Kenneth Branagh's Poirot films. I think I enjoyed it more than the other 2 films cause I had forgotten who the killer was. I look forward to the next adaptation. Hopefully they'll chose another lesser known story again. There are plenty of good ones to choose from.

A good biopic that's charming and inspiring

A good but not great war film with a good cast.

I thought it was a good gambling road movie. The movie takes inspiration from 70's movies like California Split, Five Easy Pieces and The Gambler. There’s also a hint of Paul Thomas Anderson’s Hard Eight

A great poker film. I can see why it's a cult classic

I thought it was a good gothic vampire film. I enjoyed the eerie atmosphere and the film had a good solid cast. The ending was set up for a potential sequel but I doubt it will happen now
