Déchaînées ★★★★

A movie with Adèle Haenel and Irène Jacob (and a lookalike of Shane from The L Word) about the Women's Liberation Movement, about family legacy and heritage, about film itself and how it can preserve history but also lose it in an instant, lose it if we're not careful, if we don't value it, if we don't actively protect the form; a movie that focuses solely on the bonds between women (between sisters, between a young woman and her long-lost doppelgänger, between mothers and daughters, and though not as developed, the bonds between friends).
Basically a film that specifically caters to me.
