Now this is what I’m talmbout. Humor, wisdom, smartassery and confidence. This would have been some of the set that we saw in person around 2016/2017 when I first heard of her that so endeared her to me. Not her Ultimate Form but positively indicative of her full potential.

Chris Rock: Selective Outrage 2023

Chris Rock comes back and addresses some of the shit that’s been on his mind. A little tame overall and he pulls a punch or two at the end and doesn’t quite articulate as much as I would like - I was expecting more of a monologue about black on black crime or how the dynamic shifted or something. But I appreciated the comments about not being a victim and I think that ultimately allows him to walk away with his pride intact.
