Not me walking into this movie almost 30 minutes late but getting into my seat literally just in time to see the first kill. I consumed a whole smokeshack burger on my run/walk to the movie theatre and I don’t regret a single second of practically swallowing this burger whole while all of the New York passerby watched on confused.
Other than literally missing the entirety of the beginning, I thought this film was such a great who dun it for the younger, gen z type audiences. I’ve never really seen anything like this before of this genre that caters to a younger crowd without talking down to them. It’s relatable and funny and witty and fits perfectly into the realm of films that will go onto to define generations that were raised in the digital age. I definitely need to give it a second watch because again, didn’t even get to see the whole thing from start to finish, but I really loved the twist ending and how it tied so perfectly with the themes of toxic digital culture in this film.
Loved this cast a lot and I really really hope to see tons more of not only these actors but of films with crazy psycho women ensembles in general!!
