This was so wholesome and good through the first three quarters-ish that I figured some massive shoe was going to drop, but even when it did, it still managed to be very honest & good.
It has so much to say about finding one’s family, about fitting in, and about being poor and making ends meet, that I’m going to be thinking about it for a while. Also, are all grandmas the same? Because this grandma reminded me of mine and I wanted to give her a hug 🤷🏻♀️
