Far from Heaven 2002
Hosted this for a queer cinema club event so there's a lot of insightful things I could say about it, but let's just go with this... wow, I think every time I watch this film it grows on me some more, genuinely one of the most gorgeous films maybe ever? And maybe it just hits bc I'm a sucker for a melodrama but it's pastiche done right: referential but still so touching rather than a parody, and crafted sooo beautifully in every detail.
