    Not sure there’s another 90’s movie that challenged what you can and can’t do in a Hollywood blockbuster more than this bad boy. John Woo takes over-the-top spectacle, hammy performances, and sleazy violence to such insane highs that it becomes its own singular art form. And it’s clear everyone had a blast making it.

    Side note: wild watching that Danny Masterson rape scene in 2023.
