Ike Barinholtz really impressed me with this one he’s been growing a lot the past few years, getting bigger roles and doing more projects. The Oath is a play on the division in The United States right now and on how fast any situation can turn ugly and fucked up. Overall the movie was funny as hell, written and casted great and puts a mirror up to a lot of the chaos going on all over the world right now. This movie seems like it’s in a parellel universe that’s not too different or far from our own, another part of me wonders how close we are to that same situation.
