  Not sure I really understand the complaints about the art style. It's mostly serviceable CG animation made by a team who did everything in house with almost no experience in this type of animation. It's clear that they were attempting a stop motion style with the characters, but this is really only noticeable in a handful of scenes where you can tell great attention was made to make them standout.

  I almost teared up during the final shot when he flips the final page to show the flower in the book and then the screen fades to green. I honestly can’t really explain this, but it made me happy and I figured that’s as good of a review as any other useless words I might say.
