“But perhaps more importantly than the impact it had on cinema, The Raimi Spider-Man Trilogy has left an impact on the lives of millions of people, especially mine. Throughout all 3 films (especially "Spider-Man 2", which is my favorite film/work of art of all time), I found myself in every aspect of this trilogy, both as a lover of film and as human being. Not only being amazed by the expert craftsmanship within the directing, cinematography, editing, score, and action…

Let me tell you a story:

This is a story about a boy.

A boy who’s good and kind hearted, and cares for his friends and aunt who supports him no matter what. But he’s also a superhero who protects the city he lives and stop whatever criminals come along his way.

Well the summer is coming to end, school staring up again, and other things that are happening in my life atm, I knew a viewing of this masterpiece is a requirement to remind me of all the good memories I once had and just wishing I can go back to them. Even if it’s for a little bit.

I think the film would have been better if all the men in the village were played by Willem Dafoe. Except they’re all different characters he has played throughout the years. Like one can be the Green Goblin, another can be his character from The Lighthouse, another can be his character from American Psycho, another can be his character from Life Aquatic, hell I even thrown in the hot fish he played in Finding Nemo. You get it, it would be so much better, and I would give it a 10/10.

As for what it is, it’s okay but disappointing considering Alex’s previous films being so good.

Probably the most violent and outlandish live action remake of Monster House we’ll ever get.
