I came across the recommendation to watch this short film and I'm not going to lie, I decided to watch it because the animation looks too creepy, but that's really the least of it in this short film. The story is told in such a unique and intelligent way that you really appreciate this exercise. Jack really did a reverse version of Coraline, the real family are the real monsters. Quite a clever short that tells the sad story of a little girl with an abusive family, which unfortunately many children go through. Claire just wanted to be seen and receive love, that's why her "fake family" sings to her that they see her. A heartbreaking story that is presented in an intelligent, frightening and truly unique way. And speaking of songs, the soundtrack is spectacular. I fucking loved the mirror man’s song
