I don't understand the hatred this movie gets on this platform. It is a fantastic film, worthy of all the nominations and awards it has received. Let's start with editing, one of its strongest points. Editing this film is quite well achieved, it always keeps the viewer attention to the plot, I do not lie that the intro of the film is one of the best I have ever seen. I loved how the same story is told by different people and feels in an organic and natural way, all due to the good work of the edition.
The story is quite powerful, with a script that has heartbreaking, exciting and patriotic moments. Without a doubt, some of them are the best of the year. For those who were expecting something else, don't forget that the film focuses on the judgment, indicated by the title of the film! And that doesn't mean it's a boring movie, quite the opposite! It's a drama in its purest form.
It has a great casting, where everyone really does a great job, but those who really shine are Sacha Baron Cohen and Eddie Redmayne. They really do a spectacular job, each in their own way. The dynamics between these two works are the best of the film, because despite being so different, they discover that they fought for the same thing.
In conclusion, you have to watch this movie. Ignore the haters and just watch. You won't regret watching one of the best movies of 2020. Personally, I hope you take all the awards it's been nominated for, because it deserves them. Amazing movie, great job to everyone involved.
