• The Forever Purge

    The Forever Purge

Purging does not belong to Americans. Hard work, effort and the desire to better oneself is the American way. It is a film that only seeks to divide and promote hatred.

    Fear Street: 1978

    ★★★

Much better than the first installment, this sequel tells a competent and exciting story with characters that feel real and manage to hold the viewer's interest. A pleasant surprise that injects energy into this franchise and helps to envision a bright future for this trilogy.

  • Spirit Untamed

    Spirit Untamed

    ★★

A children's film that offers nothing new or exciting. You know what it will deliver and at least it doesn't fail at that. However, the story is unrealistic and stupid, I know it's for kids but there were many ways to collect an exciting story about the relationship of a girl and her horse that wouldn't involve so much incoherence.

    You're Next

    ★★★★

A film that despite belonging to a recurring and exploited genre, manages to feel fresh and exciting at all times, with a very well done gore and a script full of plot twists, this film is set to become one of the best of its genre.

  • Fear Street: 1994

    Fear Street: 1994

An unoriginal story that tries too hard to feel like a nineties adventure, without succeeding at any time. It's just a bunch of stupid teenagers trapped in an idiotic story which the viewer doesn't care about.

    The Unholy

    ★★★

I found myself surprised that I genuinely enjoyed the first two acts of this film. I feel like it's a story that may not be anything new, but manages to feel fresh at several points, along with a simple story that doesn't bore. I think it's a subject that may bother some Christians, but it makes a lot of sense to me that evil masquerades as good, don't forget that the language of the devil is lies. However; the good…

  • In the Heights

    In the Heights

    ★★

West Side Story is a musical about immigrants that works because it highlights the challenges that the Latin American immigrant community faced in the United States, from discrimination, gang violence and police abuse. It works because it uses a real context and it is easy for the viewer to connect with the characters because of this. There is nothing in this film that feels real, it completely fails to show the challenges that such a community can face on a…
