Meg 2: The Trench 2023
I love going to the movies, I love watching movies. Like everyone else on this app, I've seen thousands of movies. And I can say that Meg 2 is the stupidest I've seen in my 22 years of life. A colossal full of idiocy that builds up to a point (a few minutes in) where nothing that is happening makes sense.
An action-packed and quite enjoyable last half hour, but fuck, I lost brain cells watching this bullshit. -
The Flash 2023
How can I put this?
It was a movie with so much potential and it ends up being the weakest of all the movies that have used the multiverse concept recently. Not to defend Snyder, I understand that the general public didn't support his vision and felt that the reason why Dc Comics is in such a critical position with their movies (failure for failure's sake) is because they didn't do a full reboot after Justice League.
But fuck, the… -
Barbarian 2022
Who knew that a story with such a dark and evil background could be so stupid?
Our three main characters are all idiots, making decisions that no sane person would ever make.
I don't understand why this movie gets so much love, when it's one of the most idiotic movies I've ever seen in my life. -
TÁR 2022
One of the most pretentious movies I've ever seen, long, too long. I understand that the director wanted to show us our protagonist, her day to day life, her conversations and attitudes, but to make us spend an hour and a half of that, it was not necessary. We are not stupid, director, we can understand perfectly well what you want to say and get to know the protagonist in much less time.
If anything was proven this year is… -
Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio 2022
Thank you del Toro for retelling practically the same story we have seen thousands of times. At first, I thought that under your direction I would see something new and fresh, a more serious and darker adaptation, accompanied by your unique style.
Imagine my surprise when none of this comes true, it's the same old story, nothing new, the fascism in Italy is never really explored but what really bothers me is that there are no consequences in this movie,… -

West Side Story 2021
Unnecessarily and painfully long, West Side Story stuns the viewer, causing them to lose interest long before the end of the story. I used to consider myself a person who enjoyed musicals, but this one, along with In The Heights have caused me to lose my love for something I used to be passionate about.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness 2022
MoM was an affront to God, this movie sucked so bad

Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2022
At this point, I don't think anyone expected the new installment in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise to be a good movie. It was no surprise that it was a dumb movie that feels cheap, with no raison d'être and nothing worth telling. In fact, I had already vowed that I would abandon this saga of films, because the standard of the last few installments has been abysmally low and this one was no exception. In short, the movie does…

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore 2022
The Harry Potter films were so successful because each one, despite being part of a saga with a main plot, told us a story of its own, with endearing characters with whom, as viewers, we were able to connect and empathize. Fantastic animals is the opposite of this idea, especially in this third part, where absolutely nothing happens. There is no story to tell, the characters have the same development as a sheet of paper, where even the protagonist, Newt,…

The Power of the Dog 2021
I'm sorry but The Power of the Dog just isn't for me. Sure, it has beautiful cinematography and top-notch performances, but a story that is too slow and never really takes off simply made me lose any interest I might have had in this film. Two hours that feels like six, The Power of the Dog comes to feel pretentious, empty and without any purpose that ends up boring the casual viewer.

Jungle Cruise 2021
It tries so hard to be like the '99 Mummy movie that at no point does it build an identity of its own. Our leads don't have a shred of charisma and chemistry compared to Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weis so it's two hours that go on forever. Bad jokes, a ridiculous story and awful cgi make Jungle Cruise the disappointment of the year.
