  • Spring Breakers

    Spring Breakers

    ★★★½

Last movie I saw in 2021, first review I'm doing in 2022. And I couldn't pick a better movie than this one. It's a fucking crazy ride. Spring Breakers shows us the unbridled life with sex, drugs and alcohol. The performances are on another level, especially Vanessa Hudgens and James Franco, the latter is transformed into a gangster who knows no limits, no doubt he was David Ayer's inspiration to make his Joker (he even copied his teeth!) but in…

  • The Witch

    The Witch

    ★★★½

A masterfully made film, where the cinematography is exceptional, the lighting in the shots is totally natural which gives a unique and mysterious sense to the film. You are really transported to the farm, to live the misfortune of the protagonist family. The script is brilliant, written to perfection where, filled with the occult, it makes you feel unsafe at all times. A new horror icon is created, that damn black goat that stays in your head after the movie…

  • Dune

    Dune

    ★★★½

Having just finished watching the film for the second time, I consider that I was too harsh with my first review. This story is too complex to absorb in just one viewing. The first time I saw this movie I had little knowledge of the lore of Dune. I knew the basics of the plot, but not enough to understand all the concepts or grasp all the references. In fact, there is so much information presented in just an hour…

  • The Sixth Sense

    The Sixth Sense

    ★★★½

This movie taught me that I should always have bars on my windows.

  • The Exorcism of Emily Rose

    The Exorcism of Emily Rose

    ★★★½

A solid horror film, which tells a story that challenges you through an intriguing and controversial case. The truth, it is a good movie, however I thought it would make me a little more afraid

  • The Haunting of Bly Manor

    The Haunting of Bly Manor

    ★★★½

    Chapter 6:
This chapter reminds us that it's really us who create our own demons

  • The Haunting of Bly Manor

    The Haunting of Bly Manor

    ★★★½

    Chapter 1:
Again the details are absolutely spectacular, where each scene is accompanied by an old ghost. A job just as well done as in its predecessor series, Hill House. I wouldn't say it's a spectacular start because at times (before we saw the Bly Manor) it was too slow and boring, however already inside Manor things started working. I hope that the other chapters will continue to have these excellent and characteristic details, which is the essence of these series. A pretty solid start

  • The War of the Worlds

    The War of the Worlds

    ★★★½

Wow, this was a war! An intense film, full of suspense, action and excitement that will keep the viewer on the edge of the seat. At the same time, it teaches us society of the 50's, the way we think, act and how (for the better for some, for the worse for others) we have changed.
A film that teaches us much more than it seems, the war of the worlds is an adventure that leaves us several lessons, which as a society we have lost and which we must recover for our own good.

  • Annabelle Comes Home

    Annabelle Comes Home

    ★★★½

It has been confirmed that the rumor involving the disappearance of the doll was false (Thank God!) I reached the last film in the trilogy. I can say that it is the funniest of the three films, where most of the characters are very nice, with a script, direction and casting well, the film manages to hold itself. It has the best ending of the saga, able to draw the tears of the viewer. I would like Annabelle's story to continue and this is not the final chapter, because I feel that this doll still has a lot to tell

  • Lifted

    Lifted

    ★★★½

As a horror film fan, I wish this short had had a different direction. It looked like it would be an animated short of extraterrestrial terror. The first few seconds manage to create some suspense, the animation was excellent and the soundtrack incredible. But hey, the story wasn't going that way. At the end of the day, this is a short film for the little ones and not for horror movie lovers. A funny, pleasant, short, with a certain tenderness where children will laugh all the time. Recommended to see with young children.

  • As Above, So Below

    As Above, So Below

    ★★★½

A decent horror movie that offers us entertainment and some scares. I like that the script was built on Dante's work, the divine comedy and that it wasn't just nonsense. The performances are pretty decent and overall the casting is pretty good. As above, so below is a solid horror film that offers the viewer a good time, achieving its purpose.

  • The Meg

    The Meg

    ★★★½

A fun and entertaining sea adventure, this film guarantees laughter and a good time. The special effects are very good, the design of the shark is spectacular and menacing. This is a film that fulfills its function of entertaining the viewer, who will have a very fun time
