Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One

    ★★★★★

The best blockbuster of the year, loaded with action and tension that make 3 hours feel like one. Introducing artificial intelligence as a "villain" felt fresh in the franchise and raised the stakes compared to all the other missions in the franchise. Shame about the bad release date they gave it, the least deserved flop I've ever seen.

  • The Dark Knight

    The Dark Knight

    ★★★★★

The definitive superhero movie, it's been over ten years and none has been able to keep up with it.
There is always something new to see in this movie, even though I've seen it so many times, subtle details that you've missed in previous viewings make it a rich experience every time you watch it.
Practically everything is perfect, a dark and twisted plot, masterful direction, boasts the best acting in a superhero movie and a powerful soundtrack.
The best thing about this movie is that it elevates the genre, takes itself seriously and shows us that superhero stories can also be for adults.

  • The Banshees of Inisherin

    The Banshees of Inisherin

    ★★★★★

The Banshees of Inisherin is a work that says a lot about us. It is an essay, a study that works on both an individual and social level. It has so many layers, so much to tell that it is a most pleasurable experience to watch this film.
It is a depressing film, sad and full of bitterness. We see two friends, who in one day one decides to totally cut off the relationship with the other. Colin Farrell plays…

  • Argentina, 1985

    Argentina, 1985

    ★★★★★

There are movies that are special, that eat at another table as they say colloquially. Sure, we all love a good spooky scare or seeing a caped superhero save the population from a terrible threat. I don't miss those movies, I love them like everyone else and of course we can learn from them, every film has something to say. But Argentina 1985 is not one of those films, it goes beyond.
A powerful film that tells the story of…

  • War for the Planet of the Apes

War for the Planet of the Apes

    ★★★★★

Who would have thought that a franchise that began with a science fiction film (a pretty good one, by the way, but which did nothing out of the ordinary) would transcend and become one of the best trilogies of all time?
War for the planet of the apes manages to surpass the schemes of science fiction and become a story so intimate, of biblical proportions, that it touches and moves the viewer, culminating with the highest possible note this story.…

  • Sinister

    Sinister

    ★★★★★

My favorite horror movie without a doubt. It is so cruel, so dark, so sinister that it makes the viewer uncomfortable to the point of forcing him to turn away, to wonder how such a film could exist. It is horrible and I mean that as a compliment. Siniestro is not a film that seeks to be pretentious or to leave a social commentary, it is pure horror. And when I say horror, I mean it.
    Scott Derickson manages to…

Only James Cameron can make me fall in love with a world I was already in love with.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

I came across the recommendation to watch this short film and I'm not going to lie, I decided to watch it because the animation looks too creepy, but that's really the least of it in this short film. The story is told in such a unique and intelligent way that you really appreciate this exercise. Jack really did a reverse version of Coraline, the real family are the real monsters. Quite a clever short that tells the sad story of…

  • Zack Snyder's Justice League

    Zack Snyder's Justice League

    ★★★★★

I am simply speechless. Justice. Yesterday, March 18, 2021 justice was served for all. For Zack Snyder, a director who fought for his vision all these years, for the fans, who for three years were asking for this cut, for those who always believed and never gave up. As Batman said, they fought with faith. And for the cast of this film, whose performances were cut and minimized, especially Ray Fisher, who gives one of the best performances in superhero…

The greatest horror film of all time...

I love this fucking film and the universe that the film created ❤️

  • Taxi Driver

    Taxi Driver

    ★★★★★

One of the most controversial and dangerous films in history. And incredibly, it is still in force 40 years after its realization. The soundtrack of the film is unique and spectacular, it accompanies you throughout the film and at no time gets tired or disturbed, it really helps us to understand important moments that our protagonist is experiencing.
The cinematography is just as epic, everything looks spectacular and just like music, it's part of the plot. It's so good, it'd…

  • The Trial of the Chicago 7

The Trial of the Chicago 7

    ★★★★★

I don't understand the hatred this movie gets on this platform. It is a fantastic film, worthy of all the nominations and awards it has received. Let's start with editing, one of its strongest points. Editing this film is quite well achieved, it always keeps the viewer attention to the plot, I do not lie that the intro of the film is one of the best I have ever seen. I loved how the same story is told by different…
