Jon Crane’s review published on Letterboxd:
This was quite a dramatic drop off in standards from the first film. Hypercube suffered from too much ‘acting’, too much exposition, and just being very boring. And by trying to look more high-tech & futuristic it inadvertently appeared embarrassingly dated with some of the worst visual effects I’ve seen in a long time.
At least the first Cube film had a sense of intrigue about it and some decent deaths. This had nothing. It was just a mess.
