lmao holy shit. this movie knows EXACTLY what it is and i loved every second of it. it 100% knows its off-the-walls batshit crazy and fully embraces it in an incredibly satisfying way, while still managing to make a genuinely effective and frightening experience. there were some WACKY camera techniques in this that were so interesting and kind of disorienting in the best way and it added a lot to the absolutely bizarre atmosphere. i think the only part i didnt like were probably the last four lines or so from Maddy, but thats really it.
its grisly, its violent, its frightening, its off-beat, its ridiculous, and it knows it. such a wonderful surprise.
final score: 9.5/10
