  Have heard of all the remakes of our modern horror classics, this one is always brought up near the top. Can’t beat a Skynyrd opening and the roided out D-Lineman from The Program playing Leatherface. Awesome.

  On a second viewing, this turns out to be one of my favorite horror films of 2023. Calling it a “horror” film might be a level too steep, too.
