If any heroine was done dirty by peaking in the late '80s/early '90s, it was Meenakshi Seshadri. Imagine being that talented and having less screen time than Jeetendra lighting cigarettes and dramatically pausing before each line like he's trying to cue the CSI Miami opening credits.
Watched this partially because of the delightful irony inherent in remaking a movie called 'Yeh Raat Phir Na Aayegi,' but alas, this is not actually an update of the Sharmila Tagore movie's plot at all, but a murder mystery(?) that owes more to the likes of Bees Saal Baad. Disappointing lack of skeletons.
