Oscar Lau’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is the single two-hour span that I laughed and cried alternately the most in my life, I could hardly breathe at all. It warms my heart and restrengthens the purpose of life in respective of family and human connection. Photography is an art, a recollection, a creation, and a remedy. I love how the Asada family shows their affection to each other, it’s so genuine and delightful. The second half is a bit contrived and overstating the theme at times, but I still love this film wholeheartedly, I would even say this is my favourite film this year with regard to the stirring emotions it evoked from me.
