This movie has some noises, I mean some absolute fucking sound effects, just incredibly loud.
The last half hour sort of wraps up the mystery, in the sense that it devolves into an even less comprehensible state than before but at least it gives you enough to piece some semblance of a conclusion together in your own time.
Mysterious Cowboys enhance any environment they are placed in without fail.
My interpretation is that this is how the film industry works in real life, with a man in a wheelchair dictating orders from his secret room, and David Lynch blew the whole thing wide open, and got away with it too.
