Oscar Mitchell’s review published on Letterboxd:
Rewatching this I notice a lot more problems. 50% is great and I love it. It has one of the best scenes in the saga and one of my favorite lines the other 50% just ain’t good. Oh well hopefully all the questions set out from this film and the one prior will be answered in the rise of skywalker. 7/10 solid addition but falls in some areas.
Edit: after seeing Rise Of Skywalker I enjoy this a lot more. Even though this isn’t the vision of like we envisioned it still shows a great flawed human and a good development to his character. Plus remove the canto bite subplot and focus more on Luke and Rey and this would be excellent.
