Obviously an interesting premise, but at about the 30 minute mark this suddenly decides it's a dark horror comedy with the worst sense of humor, and - like every Takashi Miike film I've attempted - it lost me completely.
For the most part this is just the Psych characters hanging out vs actually solving any mystery, but that's enough for me? Still better than the first one, in that it's nice to have some momentum to these, where it isn't just catch up. Also, this is the crew I want to spend my quarantine with. Laughed out loud several times, e.g. the intro graphic is brilliant.
