Tigers on the subway, leopards running through the streets, elephants wreaking havoc at the airport and a polar bear leisurely strolling through a ballet school.
I'm really torn to be honest.
On the one hand, this is an awesomely insane movie about zoo animals going completely berserk because of PCP contaminated drinking water. The animals escape the zoo and we get many scenes of them causing chaos and attacking/mauling people in an urban setting.
On the other hand, there is just so much animal cruelty in this movie. Usually I try to avoid watching movies that contain that kind of stuff, but I put this on blindly (honestly, I should have known better, this is an animal focused Italian movie after all.) It seriously hampered my ability to fully enjoy this movie.
Towards the end of the movie, a new, interesting element was introduced which could have swayed my rating towards a more positive one. Sadly, the filmmakers weren't willing to commit and ended the movie rather abruptly.
