Point Break might just be the defining action movie of its time for a myriad of reasons, not the least of which is its star. I was hoping that this would be the first film of 2020 to earn a five-star rating from me, but while that wasn't quite the case, The Devil All The Time is still one of the best films of the year so far. Powerful imagery and a menagerie of strong performances make this a must-see.
This movie is what the kids call "unwatchable". It has more than a few things in common with Cats but is less interesting. Literally every performance in the whole thing was terrible. The film was in development for nearly two decades and it still feels rushed and confused. They released this on the same day as Da 5 Bloods because they wanted to make sure nobody ever saw it.
