Sorcerer ★★★★½

Once in a while we come across certain films that you can describe them as nightmare's fuel, so horrendous you can't imagine, I've been there several times, actually I've a list of those kind of movies. The thing about "Sorcerer" is how uneasy is for the humane eye (and life), we feel every scene as one step down in human degradation, the environment turns more hostile and toxic as the film progress. The slightest moments of some normality are punisht with even more tragedy and despair that doesn't feel forced into us, there's no room for happiness here. With all this said, this is an extraordinary film by William Friedkin, definitely one of the closest thing to a hell on earth
