I can't put my finger on what I loved so much. How can one possibly describe a film like this? From the very first second, I was dragged into a bubble which didn't crack, if it has cracked at all, before it ended. Two hours and forty-three minutes, that's how long this is, yet the time flies away and I almost wished it would have lasted longer.
Sasha Lane is the most memorable part about this. What a performance, and what a debut. The fact that she, and this film in general, most likely will be overlooked during the award season almost breaks my heart. The film is also supported by two good performances by Riley Keough and Shia LaBeouf. Keough is at this point one of my favorite young actresses and I really hope she continues to make as interesting choices as this during the next years.
