It's not a premise that screams originality, but there really is no such thing as going so far in creating a love story, just in the way it is told. Some stories simply could not be told in the last century and carol portrayed the time with truthfulness and the atmospheric immersion that provokes in the spectator is incredible. They are solid subplots and offer a strong approach between the protagonists, Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara. All the dialogue scenes between the two are simply amazing and fascinating. the director did an incredible job and was attentive in every detail, which made the film a masterpiece.
