Considering this came and went and nobody payed attention to it, I was expecting it to be a nice little film, but nothing particularly remarkable. Well, I was wrong, this easily became one of my favorite watches of the year.
The concept alone, a couple navigating and trying to survive in a world where people are getting sick and losing the memories, is very interesting. What elevates this is the way the movie was filmed and edited and the performances!
I am becoming a huge fan of Olivia Cooke and her chemistry with Jack O’Connell is tangible. The movie wouldn’t be what it is if they had casted other people. They hit the jackpot.
Hopefully people keep discovering the movie throughout the year, it deserves a big audience.
