This has been my favorite movie for a while now. I finally purchased it on Itunes and it came with the commentary version. I just watched that version and just holy shit. Greta Gerwig is so thoughtful. She leans into every little thing. She allows geometric shapes and fluid writing to define the film. My first movie in theaters since December 2019 and holy fuck I’m scarred. It was breathtaking. Literally. With some really amazing cinematography and a really emotional score and also some actual scenes that made me feel like I couldn’t breathe. Fuck I’m messed up over this one. What a great sequel.
