Only Lanthimos can make me chuckle uncomfortably at paralyzed children dragging themselves along the floor.

    Easy Rider

Easy Rider marked a significant turning point in American cinema, paving the way for New Hollywood.

I tried to watch this through the eyes of a cinemagoer in 1969. The taboo subject matter and relaxed approach to storytelling doesn't seem too risky by today's standards, but back then it was game changing.

Still, I can't say it's enjoyable. Jack Nicholson is iconic, there are some solid needledrops and the scenery is pretty. Everything else is tedious. The LSD trip scene reminded me of a bad student film.

I'm going to happily jump on the bandwagon and simply state that this film is a masterpiece! It blows my mind that this was only Tarantino's second feature, he developed his talents so much from Reservoir Dogs.

Yes, life is depressing. Thank you movie for reminding me this for 1hr 30. The excessive melodrama was soooo cringe.

I really didn't like this. It lacks any sort of nuance and completely wastes the A-list cast. I've never been so amazed by a Letterboxd score. 3.8! Seriously?
